UGH.
I DON'T LIKE THIS.
NOT ONE BIT.
I really love tumblr's way of organizing things (the reblog and tag) because it combines the longform of things like dw with the format of twitter AND you get to sort of . . . keep things and make them your own? Pillowfort really was looking to be the next best thing AND I loved the format already but now . . . I dunno, I don't know what I'm supposed to do without my fanart of Slade doing questionable things to a questionably aged Robin on my blog :(. It's depressing! And, even though I'm technically free because I only write my underage, I still have no guarantee that they won't instaban me like they did ojicontent for my fic. Even if they don't, a bunch of the content creators I like won't be around! It's a lot more limiting than I thought it would be.
The problem isn't big enough to cause people to really move from pillowfort, and it kind of looks like . . . we're just gonna get cut off from fandom as a community of people who make that kind of content, which is really frustrating. I don't exactly expect people to care about barely legal content, but . . . I don't know, maybe I expected more from free expression? It's all very frustrating.
And sad. Tumblr's where my real fandom adventure started, and I'll miss it a lot. At least I downloaded my blog and the accompanying porn collection before they ban it or something.
